Notice Regarding Settlement Agreements - Kentucky

NOTICE re: Settlement Agreements in Kentucky, via KY Labor Cabinet Department of Workers' Claims --

"Consistent with an opinion issued May 11, 2017 by the Kentucky Bar Association that the preparation and filing of a Form 110-Agreement as to Compensation constitutes the practice of law under SCR 3.020, the Department of Workers' Claims will no longer accept Form 110 settlement agreements prepared by individuals who are not licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky."

As such, adjusters may no longer file such agreements on their own.
